Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Heb 11
If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
1 Cor 15“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. 1 Cor 2 ⦿ When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession …
Eph 1Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” Jn 20 ⦿ Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
1 Pet 1For we live by faith, not by sight. 2 Cor 5 ⦿ So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. Heb 10

Jordan Peterson - Christian?
Gavin Ashenden - 5 minutes
Comment
Jordan Peterson has certainly been a phenomenon over the last few years and, I would humbly suggest, a high-profile friend to Christians. His advocacy of so many gospel principles, not least the reality of good and evil, and the impossibility of true morality without God, leaves many of us longing for him to clearly say, “I have become a Christian!”.
This video sensibly turns down the temperature of all the febrile speculation, even if it leaves us with a more manageable hopefulness.
