June 28: Evening
Some will abandon the faith.
The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
1 Tim 4“Therefore consider carefully how you listen.” Lk 8 ⦿ Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom … Col 3 ⦿ In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Eph 6Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble. Ps 119 ⦿ How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every wrong path.

Bear Grylls (the adventurer) and Chris Evans (the media host) are well known in the UK, and this video is their conversation from June 2025. They are discussing his new book - The Greatest Story Ever Told.
Many in the UK are saying, over recent months, that there is some sort of revival going on here. I don’t frankly know if this is true, but I do find it enormously surprising that a slightly edgy media host would be so polite towards a Christian in front of the whole country. So … I am very excited to see this, but also wanting to be shrewd as a serpent (Mt 10:16).
Lord, let me not be cynical about the work you are doing!
