You discern my going out and my lying down.
Ps 139When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it.” He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.”
Gen 28“For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.”
2 Chron 16In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.
Ps 4If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways … Ps 91 ⦿ When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Prov 3 ⦿ … For he grants sleep to those he loves.
Ps 127

Christianity in Rural India
Share Change - 6 Minutes
As a very privileged western Christian I feel very humbled by many aspects of this video;
The commitment of the of the original Salvation Army members who established this church.
The enslavement of the Indian caste system.
The generosity of the Indian church members toward their neighbours who worship other gods.
The persistent hope of worshippers in the face of natural disasters.
The generosity of US churches in funding the rebuild.
The universality of the Christian gospel in cultures I understand so little of.
