I personally know a Christian couple whose child has recently taken his own life. And I know of Rick Warren, whom I respect, and whose son has also taken his own life. How do Christian parents survive this? Well, with enormous and permanent difficulty! Mental illness is a real thing in this fallen world.
Rick and Kay Warren’s way of surviving isn’t the only way of doing it. Even so, I offer this video to those who are directly affected, and also to those who are uncertain how they might support others.
